There's a reason why most non-profit organizations have a "conflict of interest" policy in place which prevents them from taking money from companies who could influence their decisions in a negative way. It appears that may be the case for the American Lung Association, who receives large donations from the Pfizer Corporation, in exchange for the ALA's endorsement of their smoking cessation drugs like Chantix, or their version of the e-cig, nicotrol.
