You may not be aware, but this is my third go-round at Muskegon Radio. A couple years back, I was the morning show host for the now defunct Star 108. They gave that frequency to our friends at WMUS, About 25 years or so prior to that I got my start in professional radio for an AM/FM combo which no longer exists either. (Man I must be old) Anyway, I'm back again and ready to deliver you a steady dose of your favorite rock-n-roll along with some information you can use and maybe even a grin or two. Have vegetables discovered a new defense mechanism? We already know that vegetables defend themselves against pests up to a week after harvesting and now it appears that looking like other stuff can save vegetables from the dreaded stew pot. A Chinese gardener has refused to eat a duck-shaped potato found in his field because it too closely resembles the ubiquitous, cute rubber duckie toy. Instead, he's using it a good luck charm.
