Boy, you hate to see it, but here's another case of a clergyman giving religion a bad name. A minister in Colorado named Kevin Swanson on his weekly radio broadcast discouraged listeners from purchasing Girl Scout cookies because he believes the organization supports feminism, lesbianism and abortion. He calls the cookies "food offered to idols" which he says is devastating.
But knowing that perhaps some even a large number of his flock enjoy the sweet morsels, he did offer an out. Swanson said "if you must purchase Girl Scout Cookies, I recommend using a black marker to cross out the girl scout logo to avoid promoting the organization.
All we can say is "OH BOY".
