Woman tries to shoot skunk, shoots husband instead

Surprisingly, a skunk came out of this mess smelling like roses. A woman in College Station, Texas, who stumbled upon one of the stinky creatures tried to shoot the critter with a .45-caliber handgun, but instead ended up shooting her husband in the stomach. Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk says the woman, who his department isn't naming but who has a permit to carry a concealed weapon, saw the skunk and fired. She missed. The shot then ricocheted off her deck, went through a closed back door, and ended up hitting her husband in the stomach. Fortunately, the bullet missed his vital organs, and left the skunk with one crazy story to tell his skunk friends.
