Awful grandson bakes grandma's dog in oven, pup likely to recover

An Oregon man has been charged with baking his grandma's dog, Kudo, in a 350-degree oven. Kevin Dean Parish was dog-sitting when he preheated the oven for his enchilada lunch. When the pup nipped him on the hand, in went the pincher mix instead of lunch. Parish, 20, says he punched the dog and attempted to strangle it before roasting it, but the sound of his brother coming home jolted him back to humanity, and he yanked the dog from the oven. Poor Kudo, who is expected to recover, had already sustained burns on three legs, singed hair and cuts and bruises. That's zero kudos for Parish, who's in jail, charged with aggravated animal abuse and his bail set at $10,000.
