I was born and raised in the Grand Rapids Area. I started working in radio in Whitehall in 1985. Went back to Grand Rapids for less than a year and got a better gig in Muskegon in September of 1986. I also worked at a few restuarants and in construction while going to school before going full time in radio.
I started rockin' with WMRR in March of 2009 and never looked back! I always loved rock music and finally get to work with it everyday!

Police in Oklahoma can’t explain how Danny Vanzandt died, but they have a theory: It was spontaneous human combustion. (We didn't say it was a GOOD theory.) The 65-year-old man's charred remains were discovered inside his home, but there was no damage to the furniture or upholstery surrounding him. Officers also noticed that the back windows of his truck had been blown out and, seriously, they believe that Vanzandt died when he spontaneously burst into flames. "I'm not saying that this has happened, I'm just saying that we haven't ruled it out," said Sheriff Ron Lockhart. "If you read about spontaneous human combustion, that's what we have here."
